I'm trying to find a 1930's (UK) front door with a circular leaded stained glass panel at the top. Tried local sources without success. Can collect.

Tried the salvage firms I know of in Staffordshire, but no luck finding the type I described - or anything close. A bit surprised really - given the rate people are putting UPVC doors on I thought they'd be more common.

Thanks anyhow.

Put a wanted advert in the local paper with your telly number. I went to a barn sale and this guy had 20-30 painted doors stacked along the wall of this barn. He said he can't hardly give them away, because the cost of stripping ( I assume he meant professional ) plus the door, is not what most people want to pay. None had been bought during the sale and many had leaded and stained glass panels. Maybe a fellow like this in the UK would see your advert and respond. Good Luck. jc
