Bedroom Set Identification

I found this set at an auction. Could anyone tell me anything about its age or style? I'd be interested in value but only to make sure I didn't pay too much. I have the bed and two mirrored dressers, the larger of which is pictured below.

Are there any markings on it, Grady?

My personal appraisal is usually that if someone is happy with what he bought then it worth the price he paid for it....

I'm not an expert, but I love old furniture and spend a great deal of time at auctions.

My guess is that your set would sell for a minimum of $1800. The feet on the dresser are wonderful, as are the carvings and details on the bed.

$1800 is a starting price. I would guess that it could go as high as $2500.

Again, just a guess! And prices in my area may be different than yours.

It's a beautiful set so I think that whatever you paid is worth it if you love it.
