I have a bentwood chair. It is small and very simple in design. It has a round cane seat that is 15" in diameter. The two rear legs extend straight up to a height of only 29" above the floor (about the height of a normal table top). Spanning the top of the rear legs is a single "C-shaped" piece of bent wood that is oriented parallel to the seat and the floor with the horns of the C facing to the front of the chair. The two rear legs and this single piece of shaped wood serve as the back of the chair. There are stamped markings on the small curved pieces that provide support for the legs and seat. These markings are difficult to determine, but I read them as the capital letter "D" and the number "26". I would like to know the pedigree of this chair, what the stamped identification might be, and what the chair might be worth.
