I'm currently browsing a book about Mackintosh and the designs he did for Miss Cranston's tearooms in Glasgow. The chairs, in particular, are starting to grow on me. (Everyone's seen them, right, the high-backed ones?)

I suppose getting a real Mackintosh chair would cost all of one's extremities, but are there well-made alternatives?

Thanks,

There is, we feel, an irony that a notorious lush like Mackintosh is so linked with some tea rooms.
