Hi I have an entire bedroom and living room Ethan Allen CRP set with the bar and drop down desk, bookshelves, 14 pieces total. Everything piece is in near perfect shape with all shelves and glass shelves for the bar. I am not sure what the value is and the best way for me to sell it. I also have a chair that matches! Thanks!
Sounds like you have a lot of pieces I'm trying to replace after loosing them in a fire. Is this set in the antiqued pine/old tavern group? If so, I would be interested in purchasing them. I'm attaching a picture of the bar that's one of the units I'm trying to replace Thanks so much for a reply.
Hi there, I think mine is the maple, it looks like the same color in the picture but my wood grain is not as pronounced and the details on top of the bar piece are not as detailed. Let me know if this is what you are looking for! Thanks Monica
Thanks Monica..... You are right. Your's is maple and mine is pine. Just my luck! lol Thanks for taking the time to respond.
we have a few pieces of the bedroom set in pine old tavern. I will attach pictures. i am not sure where you are located. we do not have the bar/desk. But have a corner desk with a hutch and a dry sink. There are about 9 pieces.
Hi Carrie, Thank you for the mail. Im am in Mississippi. Where are you located? Your set looks very nice. I have found a corner desk, but I am interested in all of the rest of your pieces. By chance, is the chest on the left with the little lamp on it a 48" chest? Feel free to holler at me, if you like: <phone> . Beats writing back and forth. Thanks so much again.
Hi Carrie. It was a pleasure to speak with you on the phone this evening. I had an idea after we talked. Let me know what you think. If we run into complications with Greyhound trying to ship that corner bookcase, I could easily meet you guys in Georgia when you go to Florida. I'm in Georgia frequently on nursery business and, of course, you will pass thru GA on your way to FL. In fact, if you have room for it, I could just pick it all up rather than shipping any of it. If it's the last thing you load when you leave, it would be easy to off load it when we meet. We could certainly meet at a place of your choosing. I don't know if this would be too much of an inconvenience for you. I have a pick-up truck and trailer and could easily get all of it on there. I can't recall when you said you're going to make that trip. If this idea does not meet with your approval, we'll pursue Greyhound further. I'm in no rush unless you are. We've got plenty of time to think and plan. feel free to email or call any time. Thanks so much again.
Just an idea~
p.s. I look forward to the pictures. Thank you for offering to send them.
Hi Bill, It was really nice talking to you too. I discussed with my mother in law about the possibility of shipping some of the furniture and she didnt seem too thrilled. She would like me to post it locally on craigslist because she doesn't want to deal with any shipping or delivering of the furniture. I know this is a bit of downer but i will discuss with her the option of meeting in Georgia and get back to you.
have a great day.
Hi Carrie..... Thanks for the mail. I can certainly understand your mother-in-law not wanting to get into the shipping process. I thought about that myself after we talked. I do hope she will consider bringing it along and allowing me to meet you in GA.... Possibly meet in a small town along the interstate so off-loading would not take up much of your time. We could meet in the parking lot of a local police station, or where ever you would feel comfortable. I will do whatever I can to make this as trouble free and easy for you as possible.
Thank you so much for the pictures! They brought back fond memories. (A little like seeing a lost child again!) I wondered if we would ever see those pieces again. It all looks nice and in good condition. If I had room for it, I would love to buy all of the pieces, but space is limited! I will be glad to pay the prices you quoted for the five pieces: the 24" chest and uppper book case, the corner book case, the 40" chest with the shutter door on the end, and the bookcase above it. I do hope she will consider my offer of meeeting you in GA at your convenience. Thanks again for your time and trouble, Carrie. Feel free to call any time should you have questions, or if I can help in any way.
I'm off to work this morning, (unfortunately!)
Monica, do you still have the maple bedroom furniture? i'm looking for pieces for my son's room. if you have all/any of them, can you tell me which ones and what city/state you're located in?
Hi, do you have pictures showing what the inside looks like?
