I just purchased a desk chair made by Milwaukee Chair Co 1914. I don't have a picture of it, but it is wood the finish is worn in some places. It has arm rests, swivel, adjustable height, on wheels. The space between the arms is 19 inches, the wood is about 2 inches around give or take. I was wondering what the value might be and if I should have it refinished, or would that decrease the value? Thank you very much.

A picture would be important for estimating the chair's condition. Generally speaking, refinishing without a professional restorator would decrease an antique's value.
