Not quite on-topic, but the subject book is 1936 so it's close enough.

This spoof ad appeared on eB** over the weekend: http://www.ftldesign.com/bookad/

Having no sense of humour whatosever, eB** killed the ad, but I had captured it and (with the seller's permission) put a copy on my website.

If you've ever bought books on eB**, and even if you haven't, you should get a laugh from this. Make sure you don't miss the white-on-white hidden text at the end - position your mouse pointer just after the counter, then left-click and hold and drag the mouse pointer to the end of the ad.
