For some reason it only sees the underlined bit as the link. I have tried editing it and it still does it.If you copy the whole of the link in the bar at the top it does work. Otherwise not sure how to do it.

Thanks

OK, I have tried to fix it. Now when you click on it it will take you there.

That's an exceptionally beautiful cup and saucer, Paul. Do you have any idea how it came to be in your mother's possession?

I think it was left to her along with a few other items from the estate of a friend who died. She does not collect antiques and has no real knowledege. I was round there on Sunday with the family after my father's stone setting. She said she thought her Susie Cooper tea service was worth something if she passed away. I used to be a furniture restorer and commented that I didn't think it was worth much but if anything was valuable it would be that cup and saucer. I then took a few pictures to see if I could get further info for her.

Thanks for sorting out the link

Your father's stone setting? (I have tried to find out what that means via internet but am unable to and not being an American (or Englishman for that matter) I don't know what that means)

Anyway I think you might be right. I will search online and keep my eyes open. Is that mark under the saucer (situated at the side) a "Z" or "N" or? I can't make it out properly...

After a burial they have to leave a year for the ground to settle before putting on the associated marble.

I thought it could be a V. It is clearest on the upside down saucer picture.

Oh, I am sorry to hear about your father I thought it meant that but was afraid to ask.

I will search for it. I am sure btw I have seen this design (the picture on the cup I mean) before.
