Finally, with help, I've attached a picture of the thonet chair. I have 4 of these chairs in good condition. Very heavy, solid wood, etc. Any info. you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.

No, I live in High Point, NC. Any idea/help on the chairs? I just love them. Also, I think the wood is Oak or Maple. What are your thoughts?

From looking at the photo it sure looks like Oak wood. I miss the "bentwood" upwards curve at the back that used to be so specific for Thonet chairs I do love the look of this chair though and will certainly keep my eyes open for any information that can contribute
