My husband bought a sideboard about 15 years ago in Virginia for about $500.00.
He does not remember the history behind this piece of furniture. We recently moved into a new house and this piece does not fit...do you know the age of this piece and how much we can sell it for. It is a lovely piece.

Is this oak? I found one online very similar to the picture you posted selling for about $1,500.00
This was not through a antique dealer who would more than likely charge much more.

Thanks! My husband said it is oak. Do you know if this piece is American or European and about how old? Do you think we should try to sell it on Craigs list or through an Antique Dealer?
