Does anyone know of the old NYC Dept store which had the name Strauss in it: (something) & Strauss? circa 1900?

I have a handpainted, gold layed, glass snuff-box with part of the original label on it. Am wondering what the store was called.

Cheers, Chris

Isidor Straus owned Macy's Department Store and later Abraham and Straus. He and his wife perished on the Titanic.

'I am' is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English lang. Could it be that 'I do' is the longest?
